Mālama Map is a community-powered resource hub built during Hawaiʻi's flooding relief effort. Real people posting real resources — shelters, supplies, volunteers, and more — updated in real time.
Tap "I need help" to find resources near you, or "I want to help" to see where you can pitch in. Every listing shows what's available, where, and when.
Running a supply station, donation drop-off, shelter, or volunteer event? Create a free account and add your location to the map. It goes live immediately.
You'll get a check-in email after 48 hours to confirm your listing is still current. You can update hours, items, and status anytime from your portal.
Organizations can get a verified badge by confirming their registration through the Hawaii Business Registry. This helps people trust your listing.

Don't have a listing to post but need something? Use the community needs board to tell helpers what your neighborhood is short on — water, diapers, generators, cleanup crew, anything. Helpers and supply stations can see what's needed and respond directly.
Your contact info is never shown publicly. When someone clicks "I can help" on the needs board, their info is sent to you — you stay in control of who you connect with.
Verified organizations are confirmed through the Hawaii Business Registry. Look for the ✓ Verified Org badge on listings.
Certified nonprofits have been verified as registered 501(c)(3) organizations. They display both the verified badge and the ✦ Nonprofit badge — so you know your donations are going to an established charitable organization.
Duplicate listings are flagged and require admin approval. This prevents spam and keeps the map clean.
Listing owners get check-in emails at 48 hours to confirm their info is still accurate. Listings stay live until manually closed.
Always call ahead when possible. Cell service is disrupted in some areas and conditions change quickly. Confirm availability before traveling to a location.
